Richard Church is a former director of his family's old established local family business Church's China and a former Mayor of Northampton. He was a member of Northampton Borough Council from 1983-2011, and a County Councillor from 1997-2001, rejoining in 2005. He is a board member of the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation and is the former cabinet member for planning and regeneration on Northampton Borough Council. Richard is a member of the Friends of Northampton Racecourse. Kingsley, the part of Northampton he represents on the County Council includes The Racecourse, Phippsville, Poets Corner and part of Links View estate. Richard runs a website with news and information about Kingsley.
