André has been a loyal and dedicated resident of Northamptonshire for over a quarter of a century. He has travelled extensively throughout the world and uses his experiences to broaden the opportunities and future direction of a County and a Country which he respects, appreciates and is truly passionate about.
One of André’s main roles is Cabinet Member for Public Protection at Northamptonshire County Council and is the Chairman of the award winning Shared Services operation – LGSS. Est. 2010. He has worked closely with the economic development, tourism and cultural responsibilities of the County. He strives for professional and high quality delivery in all areas of the County through his substantial personal dedication to the County Council and County alike. He is also a member of the Northamptonshire Enterprise Board and holds various roles within both the community and commercial sectors. André is as proud to be an Ambassador to the County as he is in being a father to his three adorable children all born in Northamptonshire. André’s passion is to promote and develop the best opportunities for the vibrant communities and businesses of Northamptonshire, whilst securing the best future opportunities for economic development and tourism in this fast growing county.
