Born and educated in Kettering. I qualified as a Nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, London and am now Cardiac Suite Manager at Kettering General. A member of Kettering Labour Party since 1995.
Represented St. Andrews on the county council since 2001, was Deputy Leader and now am opposition health spokesperson. I chaired the Social Care and Health Scrutiny Committee for three years. I oversaw improvements in our Children and Families service.
A member of Kettering Borough Council representing St. Andrews since 1996, was Mayor of the borough in 1999-2000 and previously cabinet member for the Environment.
