Councillor Bob Seery

Bob is a Chartered Surveyor and Town Planner, having been engaged in the development of Hemel Hempstead new town before moving to live in Titchmarsh to become Chief Planning Officer and then Director of Technical Services with the East Northants District Council. Following early retirement, Bob started a part consultancy service and subsequently from May 1993 has been the County Councillor for Thrapston and nearby villages during which time he has vigorously promoted the area. Bob continues to take a keen interest in all sport having been a very good footballer, cricketer and cross country runner and has many other interests including classical music. He is a member of the local Rotary club and is assistant Rotary District Governor which he believes supplements his work as a County Councillor. Bob's commitments now have a new dimension in his role as a member of the North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Committee having the important task of ensuring that the development growth proposals are satisfactorily integrated into this area of the county. It is the intention of Bob Seery to continue to serve effectively the people of Northamptonshire as long as they wish him to do so.
