Biography:

David Mackintosh was elected as County Councillor for Ecton Brook and Rectory Farm in June 2009. David was born in Northampton and grew up in the county. He attended Roade School before reading politics at University of Durham. He is actively involved in the local community working as a School Governor at Ecton Brook Primary School and with Northamptonshire Police to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. David is also Chair of The KidsAid Foundation, a Northamptonshire-based children's charity supporting children who have been bereaved, abused or traumatised.
